Meditate every day before and after work
Meditation is a habit that can change your life forever if you practice it constantly and focus on yourself while doing it. If you don’t believe in the religion or spirituality behind meditation, don’t worry, this isn’t about it. Meditation is really healthy and will help you focus and have a cleaner mind while you are on it.
Meditating 10 minutes a day can change the way you feel, focus, and overall how your mind works. Many studies indicate the meditation helps your brain, literally, making it physically change. In other words, this is the closest you can have to peacefully work your brain out.
Organize your environment
Your surroundings affect how you perform, and messy spaces can distract you if you are not careful. So before starting your day, or the night before, when you are free, try to organize everything. We recommend you make this a routine and organize everything at least every three days to keep your space clean.
Take breaks
When you are working from home, it’s tough to take a break from work when you need it. Try to use some alarm to remind you that you can take a short break every now and then. Make a healthy schedule and try to follow it. After one hour or two hours of work, you can take 15 to 20 minutes to move around, read a little or do something else.
Light the mood in the morning
The first thing you do in the morning shouldn’t be working; you should do something that makes you happy. Listen to some music while you dress up and get ready to work, for example. Listen to something with a happy beat, or try to have an amazing breakfast. We suggest that you try to take at least one hour for yourself and your happiness.
Don’t forget to eat and to drink water
While we work from home, or even in an office, we can get so deep in our tasks that we forget about ourselves. Eating and drinking water is vital if we want to be healthy and work our brain to the fullest. Try to do it in a fixed schedule, so you make it a routine; this way, it won’t get in between you and your work.
