Super Nintendo world already opened its doors, becoming one of the must-go places Japan offers. There are a ton of things you can do inside the park besides enjoying the attractions and you might not know it. Because of this, we made a shortlist of the features and areas you can miss when you visit the park.
Table of Contents
Power ups and more interactive places
From the moment you enter the park, you can get a Power-Up Band. This specific object will let you interact with a lot of features in the park so you can unlock certain items. You can synchronize it with your phone so you can keep track of the coins, keys, and other items you get. In other words, you can hit blocks or do certain actions to unlock special rewards.
There are some videos about this but we won’t share the ones that tell you how to cheat. You can also avoid certain “quests” like pointing some classic Mario enemies with the band, but you will miss part of the fun.
The underground level
If you are a Super Mario Fan (or a Nintendo fan), you know the underground lever already; you will need to unlock the area in the park. In this case, is where the Power-Up Band becomes handy because you will need it to unlock this world. Here you will find a lot of Easters Eggs, like the themed music of this area, and many extra secrets.
Hidden Pikmin
Pikmin’s are beloved creatures from one of the most famous Nintendo Videogames and there are some scattered over the park. You can find many secret Pikmin hidden in the park-like the secret Mickey in Disney.
Unique merchandise
The 1-Up Factory is the official Nintendo Store located in the park, and this one has special, unique merchandise. Here you can buy a lot of toys, clothes, hats, bags and many more items from the many Mario video games.
Themed food
Like any other theme park in the world, Nintendo World has special restaurants too that serve food inspired by the games. We recommend that you go to Kinopio’s Café, the most Iconic restaurant in the park. Here you can taste mushroom pizza bowls – like the red mushrooms in the video games – or a special “piranha” salad.
