Now that the Olympics are over, and we won’t see them in another three years, we must celebrate what happened. But, even though we still have the Paralympic and the Winter Olympics, if we want to watch more sports, they aren’t the same. So, to celebrate with us, the BBC made an incredible montage.
The BBC produced the closing ceremony Olympic montage, and they did a fantastic job. So many people already said that this montage is tear-jerking and very well-made, but we wanted to go a little further. So we wanted to honour that montage by making a list you will read in a couple of minutes.

Our top winners on the going viral competition
There were so many funny moments thanks to the athletes during this competition. Many of them were so happy about winning that they didn’t control their language. Some others just were themselves and went viral. In case you missed some, we put them here.
Italian and Qatari agreed to share the gold
When we saw this happened, many of us couldn’t believe such a good example of sportsmanship. But, instead of jumping for the gold, they decided that they will share it. The two medallists are close friends outside the competition, so they decided that they could share.
Tom Daley got famous for something other than his swimming abilities
You might know Tom thanks to his gold medal in the synchronized 10-metre platform. However, the internet also knows him because he went viral after being spotted knitting in the stands of the women’s springboard. He is excellent at this and went viral again after he made a pocket for his medal.
The legendary oiled man
Another athlete that got famous thanks to the internet instead of his abilities was Pita Taufatofua. He oiled himself up and became an internet shirtless sensation by showing a tradition of his country.
