After one very public trial and a second one with better opportunities for her, Britney is finally free. But, unfortunately, the first trial was viral and not in a good way for either us or some famous friends Britney has. So instead, we get to know more about what happened to her and how the conservatorship was plain abuse.
Now, after her second trial — with a new lawyer hired by her — she is on her way to freedom. Even though this is excellent news, James Spears intends to push a new conservator, hoping he fails. However, this means she is a step closer to being completely free, and we couldn’t be happier.
What do we know about this so far?
After this second trial and according to TMZ, James spear says that he “intends to work with the Court and his daughter’s new attorney to prepare for an orderly transition to a new conservatory”. According to this, he is citing new legal documents that can be used for this. However, there should be a new trial if he attends to do this.
The new documents state in part that “there are, in fact — legally —, no actual grounds for suspending or removing Mr Spears as the conservator of the estate… and it is highly debatable whether a change in conservator this time would be in Ms Spear’s best interests”. It’s because of this that she could have a new conservator.
According to TMZ, the documents continued with “Nevertheless, even as Mr Spears is the unremitting target of unjustified attacks, he does not believe that a public battle with his daughter over his continuing service as her conservator would be in her best interests”. Even though this could be a development, Mathew Rosengart, Britney’s lawyer, will fight this.
