Joel Glazer recently promised Manchester United fans that he will make a “significant investment” for the club. And right now, words said that Cristiano Ronaldo is now available for just £25million. So, in combination, we can assume that Cristiano will be playing for Manchester soon if the club is smart.
Manchester United already invested a lot in Jason Sancho and Raphael Varane; however, they still can invest some more. Glazer said, “we want this club to always be successful and win trophies. To compete for trophies requires significant investment”. In other words, Manchester is going to be an adversary to be scared of.
What is Manchester working on?
Glazer said, “the commercial growth at the club has helped deliver the revenue which ultimately underpins that investment in a sustainable manner. That approach allowed us to have among the highest net transfer spent in the world of football”. We believe that soon, with this, Manchester will be rising to be one of the best clubs.
He also talked about Old Trafford and their intentions to pump money there too. “Old Trafford is the heart of Manchester United, and while we have spent over £100million over the last 10 years on infrastructure projects. We will now accelerate the process of planning worth much more significant investment and upgrade the stadium”.
We don’t know why Cristiano is up to sell, but there are rumours that he’s having trouble with the team. Juventus vice-president Pavel Nedved played down the speculations, by saying “Do not look for sensational things when there aren’t any”. We still believe that he might have trouble with the team, but we must wait for more news.
