Venom: Let there Be Carnage just dropped and all-time fans of Spiderman lost their minds. Both symbiotes are iconic villains – and then anti-heroes – from the Spiderman franchise. We already waited long enough to see this duo on the big screen and we couldn’t be happier. Even though Venom didn’t deliver the way we expected, we have high hopes for this one.
The trailer looks amazing, the cast is amazing and this is the first time we see both symbiotes on screen. We must say that our inner geek is deeply happy because the trailer is full of easter eggs and more. We will dig deeper into those and what we can expect from this film.

What do we know about the film?
This film will be a follow-up to 2018’s Venom. Tom Hardy – as we could expect – returns to the role of Eddie Brock, a journalist and the host of Venom. We already saw Cletus Kasady, played by Woody Harrelson, at the end of the first movie. Thankfully, he is returning to the role of Carnage, the main villain of this film.
We can tell then the film will center on the relationship of both symbiotes and how their hosts handle their aliens. If you are a Spiderman fan, you already know that Carnage is a killer, so we guess he is going to be a villain for the whole franchise. The film was delayed, but we finally can expect it to be released on September 15 in the UK and September 24 in the US.
Easter eggs and more things we saw on the trailer
There were several things we saw during the trailer that was placed to make us hype and it just achieves that. We catch a glimpse of a bunch of Easter Eggs, and we will mention them here, however, you can let us know what else we missed.
Somebody is reading a Daily Bugle
Spiderman isn’t just a hero; he also works for this newspaper as Peter Parker for a very low wedge. Even heroes need to pay their bills.
We visit Ravencroft
Marvel has it’s own Arkham Asylum, and it’s Ravencroft. During the trailer, we will see the building, but just for a second.
Web of Venom: Cult of Carnage
The image we can see in the last few minutes of the trailer – when Venom is in front of a window’s church – it’s a reference. Web of Venom is an all-time classic Spiderman comic and we love to see this image.
