Since its’ debut, Disney Plus became one of the most popular streaming services worldwide, and if you have an account, the odds are you share yours with somebody. Every account lets you have a lot of profiles, but how many devices can stream at the same time? How many devices can be logged in? We answer all of these questions and more.
Every streaming service has limitations and restrictions and it’s to be expected that Disney has their own set of rules for its platform. Even though many devices can support the Disney Plus app and you can create up to seven profiles, not all of them stream at the same time, at least not by using the same account.

How does Disney Plus profiles work?
When you sign in and open your account, you can create up to seven profiles; this means you can have up to 7 people in one account. But, how does it work? Well, 7 people can have an independent experience, their own customizations, and suggestions. Also, this is the biggest number of profiles you can have in any streaming service.
Every profile can be opened in only ten devices, not more. If you want to sign in but are logged in on ten devices, you have to log out in one of those. On the bright side, you can download on all those ten devices without any restriction; in other words, you can have shows or movies saved for later in all those ten devices using Disney Plus.
How many devices can stream Disney Plus at the same time?
This is the golden question and the answer is only four. Yes, only four people – no matter on which profile they are – can stream at the same time, so you might want to be careful with your password. If your family is bigger than four, you might also want to make schedules for everyone’s favourite shows, so you won’t lose any premiere.
Like any multi-billionaire company, Disney is aware of password sharing, so they limited the streaming at the same time to make sure nobody would share it carefree. Besides, they have some rules that can make this a risky business to do, so it’s good to keep in mind some of the password-sharing policies that might get you in trouble.
Even though Disney executives understand why some people might share their accounts, this doesn’t mean is something they applaud. They check every account to make sure people shared it with family or close friends and they are not making any profit out of this, and they check every suspicious login.
If you are making a profit or share your account information too much, Disney will block your account or can even delete it, depending on the situation. We recommend you to not share any information or keep it with just a couple of really close people.
Is Disney Plus worth it?
You might know this, but if you don’t, Disney bought Fox, Lucasfilm, and Marvel. This makes Disney Plus the only streaming service with all of the Marvel Universe-related shows and films – and of course, all of the Star Wars related shows and films too. You can enjoy every Simpsons season too if you are more into Fox-related content.
Besides those benefits we mentioned already, you have in one place all of the Disney-Pixar shows and movies ever made and everything to come in the near future, which is a lot. If you are not happy with this, you can buy a bundle subscription, which gives you also ESPN+ and Hulu, another set of streaming platforms you can log in to.
If you buy the bundle, you can log in with your Disney Plus payment information, this way you can enjoy even more shows for a low price. Every single one of those streamings services is user-friendly, easy to use, have very few limitations – a little bit more than Disney plus – and gives you a wide range of films and shows you can watch besides the ones from Disney.
Share without sharing your info
If you still want to share your account with somebody but you don’t want to lose your account after reading what we told you, you can use a gift subscription. As we said before, Disney’s executives get that people share their accounts, so they made an alternative for their customers that don’t make them lose money.
You can go to the Gift Subscription page on the Disney Plus website and click on the option to get a code for somebody close enough to deserve a subscription from you. This code gives a yearly subscription to somebody, they just need to create a new account and they can start to enjoy the service.
If you want more bonding than just sharing a code, you can always sit in from of the tv with your friends, find a big one with us and get together for a binge-watch session of Disney movies.
What should I watch on Disney Plus?
We don’t mind how many devices you log in to or how many you are currently using, we just want you to enjoy what Disney Plus has to offer. Therefore, we list here some of our favourite shows:
WandaVision
This is probably one of the most well-received shows of this decade and one of the most interesting sitcoms on this streaming service. Starring Wanda Maximoff – one of the most popular avengers now – we get to know more about her, her powers, and what happened to her after all of the drama in the movies.
The Mandalorian
Many fans of the Star Wars franchise have mixed feeling about the new saga launched by Disney some time ago but most of them can agree that this is an amazing show. We can’t tell you much without spoiling something but we can tell you that is one of the best shows about Star Wars ever made and gave us an incredible homage to Boba Fett.
X-Men
This is not just only any X-Men, it’s the 90’s cartoon that launched the mutants to mainstream popularity back in the day. We don’t have to tell you much more about this loved classic, just go and binge-watch this.
