How do I get Discovery Plus?
This is the fun part; you can just register on the site and pay on the platform for you to start streaming. You have this streaming service available in two plans: One is an ad-supported plan, which means you will have ads from time to time. This is the cheapest price you can have if you only subscribe.
You can have an ad-free premium service for an extra cost, and if you get the service from Prime Video Channels. Finally, if you are a Sky Q customer you can get this streaming service for 12 months for free. In case you are not sure if you want this service, you can have a seven-day free trial on their official website.
How many streams can I have at the same time?
Like many other platforms, Discovery Plus lets you have multiple streams at the same time. With every account you can have up to five profiles; this means 4 people can be watching any of their favourite shows at the same without someone having to log out or wait. This platform is also compatible with a lot of smart TVs and gadgets.
Each independent profile will have an individual experience with its own recommendations, as any other platform. We suggest you not share your password with some close friend because of the little number of people that can stream at the same time.
What about the WarnerMedia and Discovery plus merge?
AT&T announced that they were planning to merge WarnerMedia with Discovery, bringing an even bigger library in the long run. WarnerMedia includes a lot of popular brands as HBO, CNN, TNT and etc. But they already have their streaming service, so for now we don’t know exactly how this will be done.
We believe they will sell a bundle experience like other streaming services, where you can have multiple streaming platforms for a single price. The other thing that might happen is that both platforms will share some of their major shows in both libraries.
Another important mention we should do is the delay of Magnolia Network. This network is the new replacement for “DIY Network” but it was delayed because COVID-19 and will be part of the Discovery Networks. Discovery Plus will be offering some of the shows until the channel launches officially and its launch will be a Disney plus exclusive.

Is Discovery Plus worth it?
All of the streaming services are worth as much as you enjoy the shows on their platform, so this depends mostly on you. The low monthly price is a big attraction but is not so good if you are not into reality TV, cooking shows, or nonfiction. Anyways, the library includes jewels from many networks and you might find your next favourite show.
