Lifetime is preparing a film to tell Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, and Harry, Duke of Sussex’s departure from the royals, which is expected to be a story full of drama.
Meghan and Harry decided that their explosive interview on Oprah in March this year wasn’t enough to tell their side of the story of their exit from the British royals, so now they have given the go-ahead for a film to be produced by Lifetime.
Although a trailer had previously been released showing the actors who will play each role, Lifetime recently released a second trailer for the film titled Meghan and Harry: Escaping the Palace, where the story that will be addressed in the feature film is broken down. Instead, the story is centered around the “Megxit.”
During the few seconds of the trailer, we see a Prince Harry who says he will do everything in his power to keep his wife and son Archie safe, and a Meghan Markle who says she knew life in the monarchy would be difficult and that she was trying to make the Queen proud.
At the end of the trailer, the actress, who plays the Duchess of Sussex, wonders if she made the biggest mistake in the world by marrying into the royal family.
The film, a possibility of worsening relations
This new film will show fictional positions of what each character may have taken after Meghan and Harry announced their departure from the royals and focus on the division of opinions between each of the characters that we will see reflected. Hence, the release of the film presupposes more conflicts between the children of Diana of Wales.
