In that case, you need to provide proof of vaccination or recovery from COVID and a negative PCR test result. Before you provide this information, you won’t be able to travel to the Netherlands. Also, unvaccinated travelers are banned from entering the Netherlands.

We recommend that you always try to learn some of the local languages, but you don’t have to learn it before going. Amsterdam is the place where most people talk in English, so you should go there first if you are still learning the local language.

In addition, you can travel for free within the city limits using public transport and get a discount on food and canal cruises. If you can’t get this card, there are many beautiful national parks you can explore.
Book before going
Booking in advance it’s a general tip, and you can save a lot of money by doing this. If you are planning to visit Amsterdam, you should book ahead of time museums, hotels and all the places you can. We recommend you do this, especially if you are going between June and August. This way you can save money and time, avoiding long queues.
Investigate a little about their customs
This is really important because, for example, you should tip if you go to a restaurant. Many countries include the tips in the bill; however, if you had a good service, you should tip 5 to 10 percent. Also, Dutch people it’s quite formal; you should keep this in mind.
