Every now and then, streaming services serve us series, and for that, we mean that they release new content every month or so. Now that Halloween is on our doorstep, Netflix and Amazon are releasing some spooky stuff for us. Also, many series are coming back with new seasons for us to enjoy, which means we can binge-watch our favourite shows.
Table of Contents
Sex education
There are many series that focus on sex and teenagers, but none of them are like this one. The new season was already released, but we must talk about this show because it’s so good. If you haven’t seen it, the series is, basically, how you might or might not approach sex for the first time and how it felt at that moment. If you already saw it, then please, watch the new season.
Dear White People: Volume 4
Since the Black Lives Matter movement gained relevance, many people started to watch Dear White People, and we can’t recommend it enough. Dear White People is based on a film with the same name as Justin Simien. The director worked closely with the ones of the series and wrote some episodes.
Savage X Fenty Show
When Rihanna makes a show, she creates something big and something that will be savage. This is why her show Fenty x Savage had that in the name because it can blow your mind. The last two shows had an amazing runway show, with plenty of celebrities singing and showing up just for the pics near Rihanna.
Birds of Paradise
Amazon Prime has many good movies and shows about plenty of topics, but this is for you if you are into ballet. It will be released on September 24, and it’s based on the 2019 novel Bright Burning Stars. The plot centers on the drama of two friends competing for a spot in the Opéra national de Paris. We know that the plot sounds basic, but the ballet is fantastic.
No One Gets Out Alive
Now, with some terror, No One Gets Out Alive is about the fear you can feel as an immigrant. The course theme represents the nightmare of being in a new country with no guarantees; however, it will be scary.
American Horror Story: Roanoke
Ryan Murphy is the producer of many great shows, but nothing like American Horror Story. And we must say that this is the scariest season. Roanoke revolves around witches, curses, and a mystery. Most of the show is presented as a reality show, so you will see the dualities and get a few surprises at the same time.
Clueless
Everybody knows Clueless by now because it’s a modern classic, and everybody wanted to be Cher, at least for a day. The film will be available on Amazon Prime, which means you can re-watch this classic. If you haven’t seen it, then you should do it soon.
Seinfeld
Sitcoms exist because most of us need a safe space, and we love series with a straightforward storyline. Friends is amazing, and Modern Family is really cool; however, Seinfeld has a darker humour. The plot is also less friendly and a little bit more interesting.
You
We already talked about You and how our favourite psychos are trying to have a family. This new season will focus on the cliffhanger we left behind and how Joel deals with it. For now, it will be released in October, so you can spend part of your Halloween checking the series.
Maya and the Three
Netflix is well known because it has a show that can fit everyone. Maya and the Three is a very wholesome story about a princess trying to save everyone she cares about. The main lore of the story is based on Mexican mythology. We are very excited because many Mexican animators and actors are in the project. Also, there are plenty of Mexican writers inside of the project.
